Benefits for mixing fertilizer and chemicals

Hard water is made up of minerals, mainly calcium (Ca2+), and magnesium (Mg2 ). These elements are “positively” charged ions. This is how the magnets on the GMX water softeners work, by counter acting the positive charged ions, leaving them inert. The Calcium and Magnesium aren’t removed; just lose their ability to cling to pipes, tanks and heating elements. All chemicals can be affected by hard water. This includes all types of pesticides, herbicides and even chemicals for pools. Basically, when using hard water to mix chemicals and fertilizers, you are not getting the "bang for the buck" as you would with softer, or more neutral, water. Just look at the differences in the following pictures that clearly illustrate the benefits GMX has on fertilizers.

Amazing Comparison of Trees Watered With and Without GMX Treated Water

Doug and Daphne Skinner of San Bonito, Texas and their next door neighbors bought and planted a number of citrus trees at the same time. The Skinners are on a well and equipped it with GMX units. The neighbors used water from irrigation or resaca ditches.

After 3 years, the Skinner's trees are four times bigger than their neighbors, have ten times as much fruit and the citrus have twice as much juice.

The pictures are of Doug Skinner standing in front of both trees - one watered with GMX magnetically treated water and one without.

Now consider the money you can put back in your pocket.

  • The chemicals you purchase (Pesticides, Herbicides & Fertilizers) will go further and work better because they are able to dissolve fully in soft water.
  • Bigger, healthier crops.
  • Spray Booms, irrigation heads and other equipment require less maintenance (less clogging up of spray tips for example) because the calcium in hard water is unable to clink to the inside of the nozzles. The result is simply less work for you.
